Drill Press Table
I had long contemplated a more functional drill press table. I have looked many times at the WoodPecker setups. I had decided to build my own and had some of the Wood Pecker drill press channels. Wood Pecker does a great job with the eMail marketing. A few months ago they were selling seconds of their Super Track channel. This is really heavy duty stuff. I was able to purchase 4 18″ lengths for about 75% off. NICE ! I have purchased their hold downs which I liked but would note really work in the larger tracks on the the Delta drill press. So the track size on the Super Track would be perfect.
The pictures show the build process step by step. There are lots of steps as it turned out. But the end product gives me a 15″ deep by 28″ wide drill press platform that easily “hold down” most anything.
